Yet more evidence I can use against the evil PRT empire!' But when Mildly Amused and I showed up-- 60 hours or so later-- your only comment was along the lines of "Tsk Tsk, Those PRTers Sure Are Nasty"? A 60 Hour Gap, and suddenly you find your outrage. Forgive me if I have doubts. posted by: Duluth Don (reply) post date: 07.25.05 (11:49 am) Penguin flippancy, concern about transporation fatalaties, and bullet analogies are on the same level as bigotry & religous intolerance? It's no wonder that you refused to debate me on a pod-cast when you were offered the chance... your voice most likely carries all the tell-tale inflections of a raving crack-pot. Mr. Gow, you are welcome to comment all you want on this blog however, I will no longer respond to your ridiculous, insulting and now slanderous comments... and that goes for others who insult or slander me. posted by: DavidGow (reply) post date: 07.25.05 (1:34 pm) Reply to: PRTskeptic Slanderous? I think you mean "libelous". Slander pertains to spoken words, while libel covers "fixed" media such as print. Oh, there I go correcting you again... Here's an example of something that could be construed as libel: "your voice most likely carries all the tell-tale inflections of a raving crack-pot." Does that clear things up? Above all, don't forget the parody exception. For instance, when you put Michele Bachman's head on other people's bodies, that's parody. Tasteless, but not libelous. As a cartoonist, one would think you would already be familiar with these concepts. But I am nothing if not helpful. So from now on when writing in this blog I will note all Parody and Other Humorous Communication with a ::P:: Thanks, and good luck in your future endeavors. PS, ::P:: Are you the first person to place a gag order on oneself? Call the people at the Guinness Book, or Ripley's. posted by: DavidGow (reply) post date: 07.25.05 (1:38 pm) Reply to: PRTskeptic Slanderous? I think you mean "libelous".
